SAME-GENDER MARRIAGE Same-Gender Marriage, or Homosexual Marriage, is not a governmentally-controllable issue due to variable gender-oriented genetic manifestation in each human being. The main challenge with the Homosexual Rights issue in politics appears to be that most people seem to think that it is an either/or thing, one thing OR another. Either you have Homosexual Rights or you don't. However, once you begin studying it a little closer you realize that all women are not necessarily women and all men are not necessarily men. There are various combinations of male and female hormones, genes, chromosomes, etc. that can combine in different ways to produce different levels of male and female-ness traits. Even if a person totally looks like a specific gender on the outside they may have a unique combination of gender determinants that are different in them. They may have physical urges of the opposite gender than that which they appear to be on the outside. So, in the specific case of homosexual or same-gender marriage it is virtually impossible to determine from objective criteria exactly how gender determinants ended up manifesting in a specific person so as to say with certainty to what extent each person is one gender or another physically and/or psychologically so as to deny them the right to partner with the person of their choice. Granted, this issue may be more complex than the average person can understand so as to cast an informed vote on it. This is the reason why this type of issue can not be left up to a majority vote.
